2018 RallyMobil Championship’s third round set various highlights for us to look at, such as a driver who displayed his driving capacities and an interesting future projection for the rest of the season: Diego Pérez, from Osorno, driving a Peugeot 208, promising to obtain experience and add up points through this season’s kilometers.
Diego undertook Frutillar the right way, focused and quick. He intended first place and made it. The 75.8 km/h he averaged out at the second special stage on Saturday, Yerbas Buenas – Trompetilla (13.55 km), was proof of his total deliverance at the road, one which took car 62 to win the first of five stages.
Pérez clinched the round’s first day and only had to manage the rest of the stages on Sunday, as to ensure his category’s first place. He kept a strong pace with a 91.3 km/h average speed at the round and a total time of 01:42:15.5.
Osorno sees the rising of a new promise, a man that shall be often seen at the podium if he keeps up the speed and control he has shown up to now.
