Peruvian Mario Hart will race at the Motorshow in the Citröen DS3 that Cristóbal Vidaurre used last year, to meet the commitments he was seeking to make a couple of months ago with the CBTech Rally Team.
The objective of the squad is to get a lease on both of the R3 they have in their garage, for season 2019, a year which they expect to count on two drivers for that category, plus adding one more for R5. “Our idea is to have Mario Hart plus another driver so that they race on a kind of supplementary team, meaning they would get assistance from our squad while havign their own sponsors. The project includes a third R5 which is yet to be defined,” Javier “Chaca” Montero, team principal, told us.
Before going into details about Mario Hart’s inclusion, we wanted to delve into the mysterious third Skoda. Will it be Jorge Martínez? “There’s nothing definite, but it could be him. There are other names too, such as Gerónimo Padilla, but you’ll know as soon as we have that information,” Montero clarified.
Back to Hart’s arrival, the driver assured he’s looking forward to this project. “My aim is to race from the first to the last RallyMobil Championship round along with Alejandro Cancio and Cristóbal Vidaurre,” said Mario.
Also, Hart knows he’ll join an experienced and wise team, whith drivers who have been in the activity for years, so he’ll try to learn and use his own knlowledge to develop a good season. “I’ll learn a lot from them during the time we share as a team, I follow them and I know they both are great drivers. I’ll try to pull everything I can from them,” said the Peruvian.
See you at the Motorshow!
