The 2017 WRC2 champion, Pontus Tidemand, is searching for sponsorship in order to get to the WRC M-Sport Team, after announcing the end of his bond with EVEN Management. On the other hand, it’s been confirmed that his co-driver, Jonas Andersson, will sit to the right of Norwegian driver Ole Christina Veiby. This takes the Swede to look for a new co-driver for next season. According to Tidemand himself, his future plans will be soon revealed.

After winning the 2017 title, Tidemand had worked with EVEN Management with the ultimate target of him accessing a seat at the major World Rally Championship class. However, these projects were derailed so he decided to go his own way towards the future. At the same time, the company also became aware of the need for a change in its drivers management.

A fwe days ago, Tidemand has received an offer from Skoda to continue to work with the manufacturer, but he turned it down. “Skoda did not confirm whether the proposal would allow Pontus to fight for the title. They’re more focused on Kalle Rovanpera,” said the owner of EVEN Management.
