At R3, Samuel Israel made a flawless performance that allowed him not only to be crowned champion but also to win the Motorshow on a perfect day. The final round’s podium for this category was completed by Emilio Rosselot on second position and Ramón Ibarra on third.

Samuel and his co-driver Nicolás García (Citröen DS3) were crowned champions while Vicente Israel and co-driver Matías Ramos (Citröen DS3) were left out of the final, which kept them from getting enough points, before the end of the day, to vie for the title against Samuel Israel.

“We did a very good job during the year. I must congratulate the manufacturer, my co-driver and the people who support me, and, as I said before, I’m very glad I held the spot for my cousin, who remains on second place. It was an amazing year and I hope the next one is too,” said the newley crowned R3 champion.

All indications are that the current champion in R3 will debut in R5 in 2019 along with his cousins Benjamín and Vicente, thinking on becoming the main figures of RallyMobil Championship’s major category and in Concepción’s World Rally Championship round.
