The last WRC Australia and RallyMobil sixth round winner completed a perfect job to take for himself the first half of the Pichilemu trophy, seventh section of the calendar. Thus, Heller is emerging ina good way to seize the race, something that would fully put him on the battle for the chamionship. The driver who is accompanied by José “Pepe” Díaz has reached 102 points on the standingboard.
The Ford Fiesta R5 duo won specials 1,2, 5 and 7 and set a time of 45:21,5 across the 88.3 disputed kilometers. “We’re very satisfied with what we showed today. We set-off determined in the morning and then we were able to manage a little. We want to keep the level tomorrow to capitalize this good performance. Along with my co-driver we’ve felt super comfortable on the last races and the results are proof of this,” argued an exultant “Beto” Heller.
Tomorrow the remaining six special stages will be run, throughout a total of 61.9 kilometers. Special Stage 13 is a Super Special stage and will be broadcasted on Fox Sports and TVN.
