What has been rumoured during the last weeks has begun to be confirmed by the specialized media. It’s about a historic comeback to RallyMobil competition. Tomás Etcheverry will be driving again; the decision was taken with a further impetus after Chile’s inclusion to World Rally Championship was confirmed.
This possibility had been mentioned on +Motor Radio a couple of episodes ago, as it would extend the number of Chilean drivers on the start list of the WRC round in May, from 9 through 12, in 2019, 2020 2021.
Others Are Willing to Join In
This is not just any return, Etcheverry’s is about entering R5, a category that will be enhanced by the accession of the Monster Procircuit Rally Team. It’s members are planning everything so that they don’t miss Concepcion´s world round.
Vicente Israel, current driver at R3, told us this is a project they have as a team, since it’s a chance to race against the best and that their father, Claudio Israel, will be completely focused on this hope.
See you on the road!
